Purchases / support

Purchase terms & support.

This page provides purchase and support information for products offered on or linked from chris-sykes.com. Purchases take place through the linked checkout provider, not directly on this website.

For physical books purchased through Amazon, consult the relevant Amazon listing and the order-help, delivery, return, and refund terms shown for that purchase. For digital cursor products and printable PDFs fulfilled through Payhip, consult the relevant product listing, included documentation, and checkout terms. The information here does not replace the terms of Amazon, Payhip, or the relevant seller that apply to your transaction.

For a question about any item shown here, email flow@chris-sykes.com with the product name and relevant listing. For help with an order placed through an external provider, use the order-help route shown by that provider. Please do not email payment-card information.

Scope of the digital terms below: The digital-product terms in sections 1–6 and the installation-support section below apply only to the Custom-Sketched Steampunk Cursor Pack. They do not set the license, refund, warranty, or support terms for other products.

For the Steampunk Cursor Pack: Digital products are delivered after successful payment. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms. This policy does not remove any consumer protection, payment-provider protection, or other right that cannot legally be waived.

1. Product and license

You receive one digital ZIP package containing seven original PNG artwork files, seven Windows .cur cursor files, installation instructions, and related documentation. Your purchase grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the files for your own personal desktop customization.

You may not resell, sublicense, redistribute, upload, share, extract and repackage, claim as your own, or use the artwork or cursor files to create a competing product. Copyright and other intellectual-property rights remain with Christopher Sykes unless a separate written license says otherwise.

2. Payment and delivery

Checkout is processed by the connected payment provider. The available checkout may include PayPal and eligible debit or credit cards. The payment provider handles payment-card data; this website does not ask you to send card numbers by email.

After a successful payment, the digital product is delivered through the secure download system shown at checkout and/or by email. Keep the receipt and download email. If the email does not appear, check spam and promotions folders before contacting support.

3. Compatibility and support

The included .cur files and instructions are prepared primarily for Windows 10 and Windows 11. macOS does not natively use Windows .cur files; the included macOS notes explain that limitation and identify the practical options.

If you cannot get the cursors working after following the included instructions, please contact Christopher through the contact form. Include the email used for purchase, your operating-system version, the cursor you tried, and the step where you became stuck. Support is provided in good faith to help you install or troubleshoot the included files.

Support does not promise compatibility with every operating-system build, third-party cursor manager, security product, workplace device policy, or future software update.

4. Refunds and disputes

All sales are final. Because this is a digital product delivered for download, no discretionary refunds, exchanges, or cancellations are offered for change of mind, an unsupported device or operating system, failure to follow the included instructions, or a failure to contact support before requesting a refund.

This no-refund policy does not attempt to waive a refund, cancellation, dispute, or other remedy that applicable law, the payment provider, or the applicable card-network rules require. If delivery fails or the product is materially not as described, contact support promptly so the issue can be reviewed and an appropriate legally available remedy can be considered.

5. Warranty and liability

Except where the law requires otherwise, the product is provided “as is” and without a promise that it will meet every individual preference or technical configuration. To the maximum extent permitted by law, liability relating to the product is limited to the amount paid for the product, and no party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for fraud, willful misconduct, or a non-waivable consumer right.

6. General terms

These terms, together with the product description and any applicable payment-provider terms, form the agreement for this digital product. If a provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. No change to these terms is effective unless posted here or agreed in writing.

Any governing-law or venue rule is subject to the mandatory law that applies to the buyer and seller. Nothing here prevents a buyer from using a legally available payment-provider dispute process or exercising a mandatory consumer right.

Need help installing?

Follow the included Windows or macOS notes first. If the cursors still do not work, use the contact sheet and choose “General message,” or email flow@chris-sykes.com. Please do not send payment-card information.

Trash-Duck & Stumpy printable PDF

The printable edition is a digital PDF fulfilled through Payhip; no physical book is shipped. It contains 64 US-Letter pages with 24 coloring scenes. Original page numbering and intentional blanks are preserved.

Personal, noncommercial household printing is permitted. Do not redistribute, share, upload or resell the PDF, or sell printed copies. Classroom, group or commercial use requires permission.

For PDF, download or permission questions, email flow@chris-sykes.com with the product name and order reference if applicable. An email link opens your email app; it does not send a message automatically. Do not email payment-card information. The relevant listing and checkout-provider terms apply. The Steampunk-only license, refund, warranty and support provisions above do not apply to this printable PDF.

Privacy-respecting site measurement

To understand which pages and links are useful, this website counts page views, selected homepage link activations, outbound SoundCloud and coloring-book links, and requests to start music through its own SoundCloud play button. These are approximate activity totals, not unique people, verified listening, completed plays, or confirmed purchases.

The first-party counters use no cookies, visitor identifiers, or browser storage. They store only totals by page, hour, day, named link or action, and a broad source category, not IP addresses, raw referrer URLs, query strings, names, or device profiles. The browser derives a broad source category from a referring website hostname or a supported campaign tag and sends only that category. Missing referrers are grouped as direct or unknown; internal navigation is separate. Older totals are removed when a new measurement arrives, keeping the latest 90 calendar dates. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals disable these counters. Hosting providers still process the technical information needed to deliver and protect the website.

Reports are private to the site owner. Amazon and embedded payment services have their own privacy practices; an outbound click does not tell this website whether a purchase occurred.
